About The Rock Learning Center

The Rock Learning Center (TRLC) is a community-centered educational hub designed to support students, families, and educators through high-quality enrichment, academic support, and meaningful learning experiences.

We serve TK–12th grade students across Lancaster and surrounding communities through a network of learning programs, partner spaces (coming soon), and instructional teams. TRLC exists to complement home education by providing structure, connection, and opportunity while honoring parents as the primary educators of their children.

TRLC is built on the belief that education works best when it is accessible, relational, and intentionally designed. Rather than operating as a single classroom or standalone program, we offer a flexible learning ecosystem where students can explore interests, strengthen academic skills, and grow within a supportive community.

Our model allows families to build learning schedules that fit their needs while benefiting from:

The Rock Learning Center offers a wide range of educational experiences, including:

Programs are offered at our main learning center as well as partner locations (coming soon), allowing us to expand access while maintaining consistent standards and quality.

Our purpose is to support whole-child development by providing educational experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, and lifelong learning. We aim to remove barriers to enrichment by offering accessible pricing, flexible scheduling, and programming that meets students where they are academically, socially, and developmentally.

Learning at TRLC extends beyond textbooks and worksheets. We emphasize:

Field trips, labs, outdoor learning, and collaborative activities are woven into our programs to help students engage deeply and meaningfully with what they are learning.

Our camps and seasonal programs provide immersive learning experiences that combine education, creativity, and fun. Whether focused on STEM, the arts, or outdoor exploration, these programs allow students to dive into themes, build relationships, and create lasting memories while continuing to learn outside the traditional school year.

The Rock Learning Center invites families to become part of a learning community that goes beyond classes. Together, we work to create strong foundations, encourage exploration, and support students as they grow into confident, capable learners.

This learning block is designed for upper elementary, middle, and high school students who benefit from structured enrichment, creative projects, and movement-based learning. Families may enroll in all three classes. Students may remain on campus between classes with supervised breaks included.

9:30–10:30 AM

Students learn American Sign Language through interactive instruction, visual practice, and real-life communication scenarios. This class supports language development, cognitive flexibility, and cultural awareness.

Focus areas include:

• ASL vocabulary and sentence structure
   
• Receptive and expressive signing
   
• Visual communication skills
   
• Deaf culture awareness
   

Tuition: $60/month

11:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Students work through the full writing process to create, revise, and publish their own original book by the end of the school year. This long-term project builds writing stamina, creativity, and confidence.

Students will:

• Develop story ideas and outlines
   
• Write, revise, and edit drafts
   
• Learn narrative structure and author’s craft
   
• Prepare a final manuscript for self-publishing
   

Tuition: $60/month

1:00–2:00 PM

A high-energy physical education and movement lab designed to help students reset, build strength, and stay active. Flex Mode supports physical wellness, teamwork, and focus through structured games and movement challenges.

Activities may include:

• Fitness circuits
   
• Stamina building
   
• Agility and coordination drills
   
• Cooperative challenges
   

Tuition: $60/month

⭐ Supervised breaks and transitions are included for enrolled students.
 

Wednesdays
9:00 – 11:00 AM

MindBuilders is a two-hour enrichment block that supports cognitive development, early academic skills, and social learning through engaging, hands-on activities.

This class emphasizes:

• Problem-solving and critical thinking
   
• Early literacy and numeracy foundations
   
• Games, puzzles, and collaborative challenges
   
• Focus, flexibility, and learning stamina
   

Designed specifically for TK–2 students, MindBuilders blends learning and play to help young learners grow with confidence.

Tuition: $50/month 

⚽ PE & Movement Lab

Wednesdays
11:15 AM – 12:30 PM
(TK–2)

This physical education and movement class supports gross motor development, coordination, and teamwork through structured games and active play.

Students engage in:

• Movement-based games
   
• Balance and coordination activities
   
• Group play and cooperation
   
• Physical confidence building
